Introduction

Balance druid is a really useful spec to bring to any raids 10 or 25 alike. You have a lot of supports for the raid which I will list below and a good aoe burst and relatively good dps on bosses. Your dps relies on some RNG to have your Eclipse, without that buff on you you do way less damage, but you can manage it better in higher gear to achieve a better uptime for it (even 80%).

Talent

You will have 3 talent points left which you can put in any of this 3 options as you would prefer or as your raid requires it.

- Typhoon : Really useful in ICC! Knocking back blood beasts on Deathbringer Sourfang or knocking back Vile Spirits on the Lich King, can be a raid saver.

- Improved Insect Swarm : I like anything that boosts dps and this does.

- Intensity : Better in lower gear when you might face mana issues.

Glyphs

1. Major

- Glyph of Starfire Your Starfire ability increases the duration of your Moonfire effect on the target by 3 sec, up to a maximum of 9 additional seconds.

- Glyph of Moonfire Increases the periodic damage of your Moonfire ability by 75%, but initial damage is decreased by 90%.

- Glyph of Starfall Reduces the cooldown of Starfall by 30 sec.

2. Minor

- Glyph of Unburdened Rebirth Your Rebirth spell no longer requires a reagent.

Head - Arcanum of Burning Mysteries +30 spell power +20 crit

Shoulder - Greater Inscription of the Storm +24 spell power +15 crit

Cloak - Greater Speed +23 haste

Chest - Powerful Stats +10 all stats

Bracers - Superior Spellpower +30 spell power

Gloves - Exceptional Spellpower +28 spell power

Waist - Eternal Belt Buckle + 1 belt socket

Legs - Brilliant Spellthread +50 spell power +20 spirit

Boots - Icewalker +12 crit +12 hit
Greater Spirit +18 spirit
Tuskarr's Vitality +15 stamina and minor movement speed

Staff - Greater Spellpower +81 spell power, if you can, never use a staff you lose a lot of spellpower if you use staves.

One-handed - Mighty Spellpower +63 spell power

Stat Priorities

1. Hit Cap, 11% (10% with draenei) which is 263 hit rating (or 237 with draenei).

2. Spell Power This is your best stat!

3. Haste (until soft cap) 585 (401 with Wrath of Air Totem) + Nature's Grace will make your Wrath 1 sec cast time! So Heroism or Power Infusion mostly benefits with Lunar Eclipse, and Starfire will always benefit from haste but Wrath will go below 1 sec so haste will be wasted there.

4. Crit (until soft cap) You can reach it easily because of talents, and you only need to have your Starfire to crit 100% during Lunar Eclipse.

>> That is 54.80%, so you will need 45.20% with raid buffs! You can lower it with Improved Shadowbolt/Scorch 5% crit and Focus Magic.
