Introduction

Feral dps really shines in ICC with the armor penetration cap achieved. Ferals is a good dps with a lot of supports that they can provide for the raid such as Innervate, Rebirth, 5% melee crit and so on. For guilds that are progressing with lower gear in a fresh ICC content it is advised to bring as much druids as you can to get more and more Innervates + Rebirths as you can see on world first Lich King 25hc kill by Paragon they had 2 feral druid dps.

Talent

Glyphs

1. Major 

- Glyph of Rip Increases the duration of your Rip ability by 4 sec.

- Glyph of Savage Roar Your Savage Roar ability grants an additional 3% bonus damage done.

- Glyph of Shred  Each time you Shred, the duration of your Rip on the target is extended 2 sec, up to a maximum of 6 sec.

2. Minor

- Glyph of Unburdened Rebirth Your Rebirth spell no longer requires a reagent.

Enchants

Head - Arcanum of Torment +50 attack power +20 crit

Shoulders - Greater Inscription of the Axe +40 attack power +15 crit

Cloak -  Major Agility +22 agility

Chest - Powerful Stats +10 all stats

Bracers - Greater Assault +50 attack power

Weapon - Berserking +400 attack power proc (135 attack power on average)

Gloves - Crusher +44 attack power
               Precision +20 hit 
               Expertise  +15 expertise

Belt - Eternal Belt Buckle +1 belt socket

Legs - Icescale Leg Armor +75 attack power +22 crit

Boots - Greater Assault +32 attack power
             Superior Agility +16 agility
             Icewalker +12 hit +12 crit

Stat priorities

1. Hit cap 8% around 263

2. Expertise Cap 26

3. Armor Penetration cap 1400 : Gives you a huge physical damage bonus, only gem for it if you have 400-450 or more from gear and go until 1400, above the cap it is wasted.

3. Agility if low geared ( below 400-450 armor penetration without gems ) since agility gives bonus damage to your dots and extra crit. If you are armor capped and crit capped then Strength is better since that gives the most attack power.

4. Strength gives the most attack power. Gem for it if you have everything capped and even crit capped.

5. Crit 
- 104.8% crit for maximum crit since your crit is reduced by 4.8% on bosses
- 79.8% Ferocious Bite cap
- 76% melee attack crit cap

After reaching around 80% crit you can gem for strength instead of agility, you would get better results overall.

6. Haste, not worth to go for it, still not a bad stat though.


Gems

Meta: Relentless Earthsiege Diamond +21 Agility and 3% Increased Critical Damage

Red: Fractured Cardinal Ruby +20 armor penetration
        Delicate Cardinal Ruby +20 agility
        Bold Cardinal Ruby +20 strength

Blue: Nightmare Tear +10 all stats
Yellow: If you need then hit gems or hit expertise gems otherwise you don't need to match the sockets.

Professions

1. Jewelcrafting: Big gems, for whatever you need!

2. Blacksmithing: Extra two sockets for whatever you need!

Those are the best, hands down. Other professions have their additions but those are the best.

Alchemy: +80 Attack power through mixology, when using Flask of endless rage
Blacksmithing: 2 more sockets.
Enchanting:  +80 Attack Power
Engineering: On use 340 Haste Rating for 12 seconds, 1 min CD. Averages out to 68 Haste Rating. +1Bonus: +68 Haste Rating, -19 Agi
Inscription: +80 Attack power
Jewelcrafting: 3x big gems
Leatherworking: + 80 Attack power 
Mining: + 60 Stamina
Skinning: +40 Crit Rating
Tailoring: Swordguard Embroidery grants 400 AP for 15 seconds, roughly once a minute. This averages out to approx 100 AP. You miss out the +22 Agi for this. Total Bonus: +100 AP, -22 Agi.

Raid Supports

  • +5% armor reduction (Faerie Fire)
  • Rebirth
  • Innervate (7866 mana to anybody in the raid)
  • Gift of the Wild
  • +30% bleed damage to the target (Mangle)
  • +4% Physical damage done to the target
  • +5% Ranged and melee crit (Leader of the Pack)
