Destruction 3.3.5 PVE DPS
Introduction
Destruction warlocks have their benefits like good switching burst to adds and good damage. Destruction warlock is a neglected spec in ICC but Rawr says it can have the most damage out of all 3 specs, but affliction can win on fights where it can dot up more targets. If you look on world top damages you can see a couple afflictions on top but after that a lot of destruction warlocks, so it makes it questionable if destruction is stronger than affliction, but you can play both for sure.
Talent
1. Option
- This is the best talent you can have.
This is the highest dps talent you can have, but you will need 13% hit rating in Alliance and 14% in horde to be able to have it, but it is worth the extra 3% hit rating you have to get, since your imp damage is huge.
2. Option
- Any fight which is longer than 2-2.5 minutes this spec will be better because of the mana you get back, so you don't have to use that much Life Taps.
3. Option
With this talent you have +3% hit from your affliction tree, Suppression, and you still have 2 talent points to put where ever you deem worthy:
Option 2 Talent is the Replenishment spec, theoritically it would make more damage then with the Imp buff talent, since you would need to Life Tap less to get mana back, but in reality you will have to move anyway on every fight, and whenever you just jump away or move a bit, you probly will fill it with an instant spell like a dot refresh or a Life Tap in this case.
Glyph
1. Major Glyphs:
- Glyph of Conflagrate Your Conflagrate spell no longer consumes your Immolate or Shadowflame spell from the target.
- Glyph of Life Tap When you use Life Tap or Dark Pact, you gain 20% of your Spirit as spell power for 40 sec.
- Glyph of Incinerate Increases the damage done by Incinerate by 5% (Stronger than Glyph of Immolate).
2. Minor
- Glyph of Drain Soul Your Drain Soul ability occasionally creates an additional soul shard.

Stat priorities
Best way to tell is to use Rawr, but follow these easy rules and you should be fine.
1. Hit Cap! You must have 13% in Alliance and 14% in Horde. 17% is the cap, 3% comes from shadow priest( Misery ) or balance druid ( Improved Faerie Fire ) and 1% from a draenei ( Heroic Presence )
2. Spell power
3. Haste
4. Crit
5. Spirit
Additionally, sometimes this stat weight differs depending on how many stats you have, that is why using Rawr is really good. Crit-Spirit items can be better than many haste crit items, like [Lingering Illness] is better than [Crushing Coldwraith Belt] in content full best in slot gear, if you find yourself having too much haste.

Use Imp and Grand Firestone!
Rotation wise.
1. Put on Curse of the Elements if you don't have an unholy death knight, balance druid or another warlock using it.
2. Cast Immolate then Conflagrate! >> with Conflagrate crit you get : Pyroclasm +6% damage for fire and shadow for 10seconds.
3. Then you put on Curse of Doom ( if the fight is less than a minute Curse of Agony ) if you have the 13% magic debuff from listed in the 1. point.
4. Put on Corruption.
5. Chaos Bolt and Conflagrate on cooldown always.
6. Incinerate spamming, it will do most of your damage.
Be sure that your imp is hitting always, it provides a lot of damage and critical for you from talent ( Empowered Imp ), you can use your imp's fire ward if you face bosses with fire damage like Onyxia. Give your pet food ( Spiced Mammoth Treats )
